Mike and Tracey McClain moved to Albuquerque in 2000, after successfully owning and operating Xtreme Clean in San Jose, California.

After restarting their Xtreme Clean business here in Albuquerque, they began to notice the lack of proper storage facilities for things like boat and RV storage. They saw that niche market continue to develop over the years, and decided to launch Xtreme Storage Albuquerque to serve that market, as well as the self-storage market.

In 2020, after being in the RV, Boat and Self-Storage business for 3 years, they noticed that New Mexico was underserved in the portable storage industry. They decided to expand Xtreme Storage to include portable storage and moving services within the state. Their portable storage vaults are a secure, convenient, and affordable storage option for moving, or for storing contents at construction and remodeling sites.
